Chamber Intern Connect is the newest program in the Chamber Leadership Initiative that aims to increase talent retention in the region, with particular emphasis on internships as a means to connect college students with local employers.
As part of Chamber Intern Connect, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce has launched a new internship website powered by Experience.com (intern.bostonchamber.com) that is now available to all Chamber members to post internship positions for free.
Recent Chamber and Fed studies indicate that increasing the number and retention rate of highly skilled workers is critical to Greater Boston’s economic growth. High-value, work-based internships
can be an excellent vehicle for achieving this goal. We hope that all of our member companies will join us in our effort to retain talent in the Greater Boston area by posting internship opportunities to our website. By doing so, the internships you post will not only be viewed by the hundreds of students conducting searches on our website as well as their own college career center websites, but your posting will also be listed on the statewide site (Mass Stay Here Internships site) hosted by the Commonwealth as part of the “It’s All Here” campaign.

To get started, go to intern.bostonchamber.com and click on the "Employer Sign-Up" link. Once you are approved, you can post as many internships as you want for free.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Erin Trabucco, Policy Advisor.
